EA Active was pretty much all I did this morning. I did do a little workout with the ball too but not as much as I wanted to.
I will ride the bike later today.

I really slacked this weekend and didn't workout at all. I did manage to eat fairly healthy however so I guess that is good.
This morning was a tough morning to get moving..I was NOT feelin' it but I forced my self to do my workout...I am glad I did.

So here goes-
Exercise bike: 30 min, 240 calories 5.2 miles
EA Active: 140 calories
Total Calories burned: 380

Today I will:
drink lots of water
Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks
Keep moving most of the day.

It's Friday and I have to say that I am a tad disappointed about the reading of the scale for the week. For me Shrinking Jeans challange I lost 2 pounds from last Wednesday but this week, the Monday-Friday week has been a bit of a disappointment for me. I seem to be holding steady right between 155-156 and it's really staring to aggrevate the hell outta me. I have been working out regularly, eating 3 meals and trying to have snacks in between (although not always successfully). I have been drinking lots of water. Maybe I need to bump up my workout to a harder level. I am just not sure. Or maybe my body is trying to adjust and will start dropping again, at least I hope that's the case.
Ok so for todays stats:

I took it kinda easy today...didn't ride the bike. My knees were really sore yesterday and I didn't want to overdue it and cause an injury. I did to the EA Active workout this morning though and it was mostly arms so it was perfect.

EA Active: 113 calories burned, 24 minute workout.

I may try to ride the bike later today, see how my knees are feeling first.

Ok today kicked my booty. My knees seem to be a bit sore today for some reason, maybe all the running on the EA Active.

Eating a good breakfast too, 2 eggs, plain whole wheat english muffin and 2 small sausage links, and WATER!

WOW! What a good workout this morning!
I bumped the EA workout to medium and I am so glad I did, it actually worked me a bit more.
Here are the stats:

Exercise bike: 30 min, 312 calories, 4.8 miles
EA Active: 24 min, 147 calories

Total Calories burned: 459

I will ride the bike again later tonight or maybe I'll mix it up and do a personal workout on the EA.

Update- Evening workout
I did the EA Active workout again tonight...burned another 147 calories...YAY!!

I love that the boys work out with me when I do the EA Active. They get such a kick out of it and it gets them moving.
Tomorrow..we hit it all again.

I decided to make Saturday my day of rest instead of today because, well frankly, I was just tired.

This morning I rode the bike for 30 minutes, burned 340 calories and rode for about 5.5 miles. I did a few crunches on my workout ball but that is about it. Tomorrow...back to the grind.

Week One of REALLY working it, ie: working out daily, eating well etc...I have lost right around 4.5 lbs. YAY!!!!

I have set my first goal of July 14th (that is the day I leave for Texas) and my goal is to be down to 145. Hey I may even need to go buy some new shorts and stuff for my trip..WOOHOO!

WHEW!! Workout is done and I am sweating like crazy.....feels good!!
I snuck a peek at the scale this morning and it was down another pound...WOOOHOOO!! I think maybe my body is finally starting to catch on that I am trying to lose part of it..lol

Tomorrow I will at the very least ride the bike, I hope to get in a workout either with the Wii or just using my exercise ball. Sunday will be my day of rest.

Today I decided to take a break from the EA Active workout and do a workout with Jillian on her 30 Day Shred dvd. I only did 20 minutes on the bike cuz I knew Jillian would kick my butt, and I was right.


Bike: 20 min, 210 calories burned
30 Day Shred: Level 1 workout. I did MOST of it but there were a few times I had to stop and take a little break.

Tomorrow: Bike and back to the EA Active. I enjoy that workout a lot more, although, I think I would really notice a difference a lot faster using Jillian. I think maybe I will try to do her workout a couple of times a week for a little change in training.

EA Active: burned 100.7 calories, worked out for 22 minutes. Worked mostly on legs and shoulders.

Tomorrow I will add 5 minutes to the bike and possibly add an extra workout.

Shrinking Days of Summer Weigh In-Week 2

So today is Weigh in Wednesday and I am not so happy with the scale. I guess it could be worse but then again it certainly could be better too. I didn't budge....didn't lose, didn't gain. I guess since I "officially" started working out and eating right on Monday I shouldn't be surprised but I was hoping for better. My goal is to lose 15 lbs by July 14th, that is when I travel to Texas to visit my sister. I think 3 lbs/week is totally do-able I just have to really work at it.

Weight: 159.2
Goal for next week: 3 lbs
Goal for the next 5 weeks: 15 lbs.

WHEW!!

Today I got a late start working out, but I did work out. I rode the exercise bike for 30 minutes and then did the EA Active workout for 26 minutes. Feels good to sweat and to know that I am working towards a better me....I can do it!!!!
